Ramtech worked with their general contractor to provide a 9,094 square foot pier and beam permanent modular building that consists of eight classrooms, an art room, front office and three private offices, a conference room, boys and girls restrooms, break/work room, and a resource area. The exterior of the facility features R-Panel metal siding, a storm-resistant standing seam metal roof, storefront exterior windows, and aluminum entries and canopies. The interior features VCG on all walls, a combination of VCT and carpet tile flooring, and a lay-in tile ceiling. The heating and cooling of the building is accommodated using multiple high efficiency HVAC split systems.

The modular school buildings each have a slightly different interior configuration, with the Bio Engineering facility using a five classroom layout while the Mechanical Engineering building incorporates one large classroom, three standard size classrooms, and restrooms that serve the faculty and students from both buildings. Both buildings have sprinkler systems to meet the required fire safety code, and their DX split mechanical systems were integrated into the University’s existing AAON HVAC equipment. The modular buildings are installed on a semi-recessed grade beam foundation and utilize a corrugated metal finish exterior painted using an UltraCrete textured coating.

The pier and beam permanent modular construction project required a 10,624 square foot facility with seven classrooms for adults and a 16,000 square foot building with two large worship areas and six classrooms for junior and high school students. Ramtech worked with the church’s general contractor to develop the building pads for a grade beam foundation system with drilled and belled peers. The buildings incorporate parapet walls with full masonry exteriors to match the main structure. The interior finishes include VCG walls and a combination of carpet tile, vinyl composition tile, and sheet vinyl flooring. Heating and cooling are accommodated with zoned split system HVAC units.

Arlington Classics – Bowen Rd. The modular school building accommodates additional 7th and 8th grade students at the Charter School’s middle school campus.

The requirements for the new facility called for full site development including permits, geotechnical and civil design, as well as landscaping, extension of the utilities, and integrating the fire alarm system with the existing structure. The interior has vinyl covered gypsum wall covering and carpet in each of the nine classrooms and computer lab, while the exterior incorporated a combination of Luxbrick thin brick veneer and UltraCrete textured coating to meet the city’s masonry requirements and to blend in with the school’s existing structures.

The parapet wall design incorporates a full masonry exterior which complements the look of the school’s existing buildings while also providing screening of the roof mounted HVAC units. Ramtech constructed the building with a grade level appearance which allowed for sidewalks and a covered walkway leading to the adjacent structure. The interior of the facility includes commercial grade carpeting throughout the building, and each classroom incorporates a black painted accent wall for featuring student work and achievements. Ramtech was also responsible for all of the site work on the project including the extension and connection of the utilities.

Purchased through the Texas Buyboard cooperative, this facility is home to the nationally recognized Center for Play Therapy and provides administrative and faculty office space as well as customized patient counseling rooms for the University’s Department of Counseling and Higher Education Program. Ramtech provided design assistance to The Jacobs Engineering Group, and worked closely with The Beck Group, the construction manager on the project. The building was installed on a poured foundation and incorporates a HardiePanel stucco embossed exterior painted to match the surrounding area.

The wood framed structure has 480/277 volt electrical service and uses split system HVAC units for heating and cooling. The interior utilizes vinyl covered gypsum wall coverings throughout the facility along with VCT tile flooring in the hallways and training areas and carpet tiles in each of classrooms.

Started in 2001, Sweetwater’s Head Start program was originally run in the district’s oldest building which became too expensive and costly to maintain. The new facility provides 15 classrooms with a full administration area with three offices, reception area, and conference room. Ramtech utilized R-Panel metal siding in a parapet wall design for the exterior, while the interior was finished with vinyl covered gypsum wall coverings, commercial grade carpet and vinyl composition tile flooring. Heating and cooling of the building is accommodated by multiple split systems zoned to provide maximum efficiency.

This allowed for the existing structure to be used to serve their growing youth group and other ministry activities. The 4,684 square foot facility sits on a CMU pad on grade foundation and has a Hi-Rib steel siding and roof, along with wall hung HVAC units. The interior floor coverings are a combination of VCT and commercial grade carpet, with VCG for the walls. Ramtech’s scope of work called for providing the plumbing manifold and a MDP to allow for a single point of connection for the utilities.

Ramtech built a 10,250 square foot L-shaped traditional modular facility on part of a 20-acre site that provides space for a worship center, three offices, eight classrooms, and a daycare center. The worship area, which also serves as the church’s fellowship hall, incorporates a vaulted ceiling with exposed architectural ductwork painted flat black. HardiePanel embossed stucco siding with an elastomeric paint finish was used for the exterior, while the interior was finished with vinyl covered gypsum wall coverings, commercial grade carpet and vinyl composition tile flooring. Ramtech managed all of the site preparation, including the extension and connection of utilities and the installation of a pad-on-grade foundation.
